Days are not passing by. Due to the climate change, environment change, food change, faced (facing :) ) so many difficulties physically which creates mental distraction. Not able to concentrate on work. Feel like am getting paid for doing nothing. (But still got appreciations from clients and leads :) ) But the self satisfaction in work is missing.

Not really enjoyed by going out. The place is fully greenish (infact adarnda KAADU). Dependency on others even for small things is too high, which i hate the most. Feel like am put up in a jail. Now thinking why i have got interest in going for onsite.

For all people at offshore, please dont ever think that people at onshore are enjoying their life. They are getting physically, mentally tortured for which they are getting paid more. Thats it. Am not here talking about the ones who are not doing any work and getting paid (which will be there even at offshore). But 90% of the people at onshore are really struggling a lot. Even when i was at offshore, i thought the same way like you all. Am taking this as an oppurtunity to know their pains.

Late night calls, no proper food, no proper sleep, no relaxation at work, etc etc.. these are just very few.

Thanking god that i have accepted only for four months assignment and not more than that. type='text'>Trip to Rottikallu – Dec 18 & 19, 2010

It was my long term plan to go to Rottikallu since I heard about the place from my colleague. Initially I had planned to visit the place with my colleagues as a team out, and due to various reasons, it got dropped out. I got disappointed. Finally, decided to go there with my college & Huawei friends, on Dec 18-19. We have booked for a big cottage (8 members) & a small cottage (4 members) in Rottikallu for our stay. The tariff for that comes around Rs. 2000/head, which is inclusive of lodging & food.

Finally the day which I was expecting so long has come. We (6 members from Chennai) boarded Chennai-Mysore Mail on Dec 17th. Our plan is to reach Bangalore at 4:00 am on Dec 18th and from there to take the tempo we booked for Rottikallu (which is around 250 kms from Bangalore, near Hassan-Sakleshpur)

We were on time to Bangalore on Dec 18th morning & gathered all the guys from Bangalore and our journey started at around 5:30 am to Rottikallu.

We had very good breakfast in Hotel Mayura, a Highway hotel, on the way to Hassan. Finally we reached Rottikallu at around 12.30. By the time we reach over there, the organizer over Rottikallu made arrangements for our lunch.

Before going for lunch, we had played water volleyball, which was awesome experience. The team for which am playing will be the losing side for sure :-) Since am the greatest player :-)

We were all so hungry, ofcourse, the food also was so good as well tasty. We all blasted away before we start for our cricket match, continued with series of water games. Simply to say, water games were so thrilling and it was a very good experience for all to walk on a rope, sliding in rope, etc.

After we are done with the water games, we had a good coffee which we were all waiting for so long. At around 5.30 we started our small trekking which is about 1.5 kms in the hill to see the sunset. It was really awesome to see the sunset at mountain hill. (We all would definitely drew the sun, in between mountains and this was the first time am seeing it in reality :-))

After our small trekking a good camp fire was waiting for us. We all shared our old memories and spent the night so good.

After a series of journey, water games, volleyball, cricket we all were so tired and went for bed. In the morning the much awaited trekking was there in front of us.

We all started at around 8:00 AM Dec 19th, for our 8 Kms trekking. It was an awesome experience which I couldn’t put out here by words. One has to realize the beauty of the place by seeing it in person. The wind, the mountain, the greenish trees all over, small flowers, water beds all were fantastic. We had our breakfast in hill top, which is new to all of us. 

Here comes the much awaited part of the trip, which is the small water fall. The water was so cool and so clean. No one will be interested to come out of the water fall “saying am done”.

All in all, it was a ultimate experience for all of us. We had our lunch again in Rottikallu resort and started from there at around 1 o’ Clock. Our plan was to cover Belur & Halebid on the way back to Bangalore.

These are the sculptures and architecture one has to see in his/her lifetime. My goodness, each architecture & statues over there speaks about the effort and sincerity behind the work. Indeed those people who made it had put their heart and soul over their job. Ofcourse we are all not having that tendency to work, that’s why we all are suffering over here.

Of all the statues, one attracted me more is the “Dasakanda Raavanan” statue, which was simply superb.

Finally we all were set for our journey back to Bangalore/Chennai. We reached Bangalore sharply at 10.40 PM and started our journey back to Chennai with all the memories in heart & snaps in cameras :-) :-)

Indeed, it was a mind refreshing trip :-) :-) after all a tiring work at office.

Eagerly waiting for the next trip :-) :-)

Mantralayam - Swamy Raghavendra Brindhavan

"Poojyaya Raghavendraya Sathyadharmaradayasa

Bhajadam Kalpavrukshaya Namadam Kaamadenave"

August 20, Yes, Indeed its the most awaited day for me. Me along with my friends going to Mantralayam - Swamy Raghavendra Brindhavan. My first time. Everyone in my team were more excited. Especially myself.

We started from Chennai by Rail - Mumbai Mail @ 11:00 PM. One month ahead itself we have booked room in "Hare Krishna" Lodge and transportation. So there were no tensions for us on all these.

Had a Nice travel and while our travel had breakfast on Aug 21 morning 8:30 AM in Guntakal Station. There we tasted the real food of Andhra (Yes, you are correct, Only chilli was there in the Chutney).

We reached Mantralayam Road by 10:30 AM and our vehicle was waiting for us. Another half an hour drive, we reached Brindhavan. Our plan was to visit Panchamukhi Anjaneyar before having dharshan of Swamy.

After having lunch and a bit of sleep, we started around 2.30 to Panchamukhi. Since after the flood, the road connectivity is not there between mantralayam and Panchamukhi. One has to take row boats available on the shore of thungabhadra. They will ask for Rs.20 for one guy/one way. Ofcourse its too worthy. Its really hard to drive the boat with the pressure of thungabhadra.

After reaching the other side of the river, we hired an auto to reach Panchamukhi. These people will ask Rs. 350 To and Fro. Ofcourse this journey was horrible due to the poor roads. On the way seen so many children walking without slippers for the school. Literally felt heavy hearted for those guys and thanked god for our position.

Panchamukhi - Its a place were raghavendra swamy did tapas for more than years and seen god venkateshwara here. Still the Tulsi mutt which raghavendra swamy did pooja for years are kept over there. The place is full of rocks, hanging without any support. Its really a miracle. For sample, please visit my Picasa.

So after having a nice dharshan, we are set to ready to participate in the Chariot utsavam which will take place everyday at 8:00 in Mantralayam. It was really a good experience and we were on time to see that. We thought we will face problem in having darshan of Rayar (people used to call swamy by this name). But god's grace, with influence, we went near to the Brindhavan and had our dharshan. No words to explain about this experience

Day went fine.

August 22: Next day morning, few of my team, including me, went to Thungabhadra to have a holy dip. Indeed we cant manage the pressure of the the river. Thank god, here also, swamy helped us. When we went, Temple elephant came to take bath. That big boy, just fell down in the river and blocked the pressure in the place where we were taking bath. :) :)

After a holy dip, we went to have dharshan of Swamy Venkateshwara temple, which Swamy raghavendra did the pradishta. You need to walk some distance from Rayar temple for this temple.

Then, we booked the "Panchamirtha Abhishekam" Dharshan (Rs. 75 for 2 people). This aaradhana will take place daily at 8:00 AM. Had again the dharshan of Rayar's Brindhavan.

Thought of having our lunch in Annadana, but unfortunately, it was too crowdy and the time also didnt suit us. Since we had our train at 3:15 PM from Mantralayam Road. So we did some basic purchases and with silent filled in our heart, blessing of Rayar filled our mind we left the place.

On the way to station, we got down near a sunflower garden. Took few snaps :) :). We catched our train on time exactly. If we would have enjoyed more in the sunflower garden we would have missed our train :) :)

Again we had our dinner in Guntakal Jn. Again the same old oothapam with Chutney. Now with tears filled up in our eyes due to chilli, we continued our journey :) :)

After saying all these, i forget to say one thing, the place is under renovation after the bad hit of the flood. We heard so many deaths, including 65 cows in the gosala, due to the flood. It was really hard to digest. Please pray for the good souls.

All in all, it was a much exciting trip in my life. Please visit once in life. :)

"Carrot, Eggs & Coffee Bean" - Which one are U?

A carrot, an egg, and a cup of coffee...You will never look at a cup of coffee the same way again.

A young woman went to her mother and told her about her life and how things were so hard for her. She did not know how she was going to make it and wanted to give up, She was tired of fighting and struggling. It seemed as one problem was solved, a new one arose.

Her mother took her to the kitchen. She filled three pots with water and placed each on a high fire. Soon the pots came to boil. In the first she placed carrots, in the second she placed eggs, and in the last she placed ground coffee beans. She let them sit and boil; without saying a word.

In about twenty minutes she turned off the burners. She fished the carrots out and placed them in a bowl. She pulled the eggs out and placed them in a bowl. Then she ladled the coffee out and placed it in a bowl. Turning to her daughter, she asked, ' Tell me what you see.' 'Carrots, eggs, and coffee,' she replied.

Her mother brought her closer and asked her to feel the carrots. She did and noted that they were soft. The mother then asked the daughter to take an egg and break it. After pulling off the shell, she observed the hardboiled egg.

Finally, the mother asked the daughter to sip the coffee. The daughter smiled as she tasted its rich aroma. The daughter then asked,

'What does it mean, mother?'

Her mother explained that each of these objects had faced the same adversity: boiling water. Each reacted differently. The carrot went in strong, hard, and unrelenting. However, after being subjected to the boiling water, it softened and became weak. The egg had been fragile. Its thin outer shell had protected its liquid interior, but after sitting through the boiling water, its inside became hardened. The ground coffee beans were unique, however. After they were in the boiling water, they had changed the water.

'Which are you?' she asked her daughter. 'When adversity knocks on your door, how do you respond? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

Think of this: Which am I? Am I the carrot that seems strong, but with pain and adversity do I wilt and become soft and lose my strength?

Am I the egg that starts with a malleable heart, but changes with the heat? Did I have a fluid spirit, but after a death, a breakup, a financial hardship or some other trial, have I become hardened and stiff? Does my shell look the same, but on the inside am I bitter and tough with a stiff spirit and hardened heart?

Or am I like the coffee bean? The bean actually changes the hot water, the very circumstance that brings the pain. When the water gets hot, it releases the fragrance and flavour. If you are like the bean, when things are at their worst, you get better and change the situation around you. When the hour is the darkest and trials are their greatest do you elevate yourself to another level? How do you handle adversity? Are you a carrot, an egg or a coffee bean?

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human and enough hope to make you happy.

The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way. The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; you can't go forward in life until you let go of your past failures and heartaches.

Trip to Sholingur - Thirukadigai - Jun 19, 2010

Never before in my life i woke up without alarm (either clock or people). That fine night also i kept alarm at 3:45 am, to catch up the train at 5.30 from central!
Since i didnt get sleep, i played songs in mobile! Dont know when i slept! The entire battery drained out! Suddenly i got up thinking that i am late and cursing myself! When i switched on the light, i cant really imagine! The time was exactly 3:45! That time i realised that narasimhar made me to come on time!
Thanking him, i prepared for my journey!
Upto Saidapet went in my pulsar (yeah, you are correct, i mean my bicycle). Got return ticket to arakkonam and my journey started peacefully!Though i missed the 5.30 train by a min, i catched the 6.05 train and reached arakkonam by 8 exactly! Tireless journey it was!
Immediately got the share auto from railway station and caught the sholingur bus by 8.15!Another 45 min journey. No need to go upto bus stand, on the way itself you will find the temple arch.Get down there, take auto to periya malai.I came to know that there will be lot of monkeys, so for precaution i took shoulder bag to carry pooja items! With that i bought one stick also to manage the nmonkeys which i didnt use till the end of my jourrney. It was amazing to see monkeys in different pose!
I have 2 agree that it was hard 2 climb 1300 steps. Since i did chanting continuously i didnt know the pain! Of course last 100 steps were too steep! After entering temple i thought there wont be monkeys!
But to my surprise, inside temple, till garbagraham, they were the one ruling the temple. Since temple kumbhabhishekam is scheduled on sep 10, 2010, no one was allowed to see moolavar! I was actually disappointed!Had dharshan only of bhakthavatsalan (uthsavar) and came down.

Then again i took another auto to go the foothills of chinna malai. There a great treat was waiting for me, i was not aware. This time climbing 400 steps was somewhat tiring one! But monkeys eroded that pain from me! They were awesome! Especially the little ones!I reached the temple.
This time the priest took me inside garbagraham.
I cant imagine! I was very close to yoga anjaneyar! It was awesome, simply amazing experience. Once did with pooja, did meditation for some 15 min! That was also cool!Yoga anjaneyar dharshan had taken away the disappointment of not seeing yoga narasimhar to some extent!
But anyways decided to come here after kumbhabhishekam!By 12, my journey back to chennai begins! Click on the title of the post to see some photos!

If get a chance, dont miss this place! I have explained here very little of my experience! Something beyond words we need to experience it!

Jai Narasimha!!
Namo Narayana!!

A Trip to Melkote - Thondanur, Aug 27, 2009

Well, I was enjoying my notice period in Huawei during that time. Before leaving from Bangalore wanted to go somewhere out. Immediately Melkote was the one striked out my mind. Decided to go there on one fine Saturday morning with my friend Bharathi. He was also very much interested in joining with me. Got pulsar from my room mate Mahesh and we both started at around 10:00 AM in the morning.
Before going to discuss further, I will give you a short introduction on Melkote.
Melkote (Thirunarayanapuram) is situated 170 kms from Bangalore, 85 Kms from Mandya. The lord Chellapillai is very famous out here. During the black period for Vaishanavism, this is the place where Saint Ramanuja, spent his days together with Chellapillai. There is a huge story how he brought the idol of Chellapillai from Delhi Tippu Sultan daughter. “Vaarai Chellapillai” endru Emberumanar koopitavodane, Chellapillai idol jumped out of Sultan’s daughter and came into hands of Saint Ramanuja. It’s a big story. Interested people read “Ramanuja Charithram”. While his return back to Srirengam after the Black out period, the people at Thirunarayanapuram didn’t allow him to return. For their sake, they made the "Thamar Uganda Thirumeni" of Saint Ramanuja which we can still see in Melkote. It will be an ultimate one.
After describing about Chellapillai, one should not forget the Yoga Narasimhar in the Mountain Temple. “Tharu Thuyaram Thadayel Un Saran Allal Saran illai” – Perumal Thirumozhi – 5 pathu. If you completely believe on Lord Narasimha, he will never leave us. He will be with us always and save us like he did for Prahalada.
Fine. Let me go in detail about my Journey
We Started at 10:00 AM from Bangalore and reached Mandya at around 12.30. Its really so good to ride bike in Bangalore-Mysore Highway, provided you are riding cautiously. Ofcourse on our way, we have seen two accidents cases too :-(
We had our lunch in Balaji Restaurant in Mandya. After finishing our lunch we started our journey to Melkote. Actually we never thought that it would be 170 Kms from Bangalore. Our thinking was somewhere around 90 Kms. After taking the diversion to Melkote from Bangalore-Mysore highway only we realized that we need to travel another 80 odd Kms.
Ya. It was a tiring journey. But well, the places around both sides of the road from Mandya till you reach Melkote was awesome. Finally we reached Melkote at around 3.30 PM, by that time we reach the temple was closed and it was scheduled to open at 4.30 again. We booked our room in one mutt and refreshed ourself.
My Chithi was telling, if you go to Melkote don’t miss Thondanur which is 20 Kms from Melkote in SriRangapatna highway. That striked my mind. Before the temple opens here, we thought of having a ride over there and see those places in Thondanur. Our journey started at around 4:00 again. We reached there at 4.30.
Actually there are 3 temples (Abhimanasthalam) in thondanur, all close together. Gopalakrishna temple, Yoga narasimhar temple, Narayanaswamy temple. The temple priest will be available all the time for pooja. Since this place is in outskirts most people won’t turn towards here. But this place one must see in his/her life time.
When we reached there, we could get dharshan only in Gopalakrishna swamy temple (Parthasarathy moolavar). The charming smile of the moolavar attracted me a lot. But the temple is in bad shape. Revonation is going to be started the priest described.
After having our dharshan in Gopalakrishna swamy temple, we went to Padma theertham or Ramanuja theertham near the temples, which is awesome to see at evening time. Actually this is the place where the tamil movie “Padaiyappa”first intro song (the Paambu puthu scene) was shooted.
We had our good time over there. One point I missed out here, people over there didn’t know thondanur if you ask them. You have to ask them like “thonnur”, then only they might guide you.
Once done with our dharshan over there, we drove back to Melkote and had dharshan of both Chellapillai (Really Cute & Charming) and yoga Narasimhar in the Hill.
Our day ended ultimately with some good dharshan and sight seeing.
Our plan was to stay over there and start early morning back to Bangalore.
The next day morning we started at 6.00 and reached Bangalore by 12:00 PM. While our return journey we have seen Kanva reservoir too.
If you get a chance to go to Bangalore or Mysore, don’t miss these Places. I had attended CTS interview on Oct 24, 2009 and I was waiting for the offer letter. Really that one month period I was totally out sitting idle in home.

Have applied for BHEL exam and Emperuman made me to come to his feet on Nov 28, 2009 for BHEL exam. That day also was "Kaisiga Ekadasi".

After finishing my exams, I went to have dharshan of emperuman at around 4:00 after taking a holy dip in cauvery. Went to meet Annan Swamigal and had his blessing too (Aacharya anugragamum Kedaichadu). Till the minute I enter the raja gopuram, I was browsing with my mobile to check whether I have received any offer from CTS. Nopes.

With lot of frustration I went inside and fall in the feet of Emperuman. Nearly was about to cry.

I was helpless. Had a good dharshan, with tears filled my eyes came out of temple and after getting into the bus to my native around 5.30 again I browsed with my mobile for checking mails.

I cant believe, My eyes were full of tears. Cant control it really. Emperuman karunaiye Karunai.

I got my offer from CTS.

Really am considering my CTS offer as Emperuman Pota Pichai for me.

I am requesting all of you to have a dharshan of Emperuman atleast once in life. Really you will see your life path changes immediately. Avane Gadi nu saranam adanja, he will never leave us.

Have Believe on him!!

Am sharing with you all few photos which I took on that day! Hopefully you all will enjoy!

Jai SriMan Narayana!!!!
